Student Bank Accounts

A simple way to save money at any stage of your life is to spend the money you earn on what you need. Giving that money to the banks in ridiculous transaction and account fees isn’t part of that plan. You might not realise it but you are eligible as a student for a “student account”. This means that there are no monthly account fees and unlimited transactions granted at ATM’s that your bank owns. This can be a huge saver and the cash you save from this could add up to at least one meal a week.

I have been with St George Bank on this and have had no problems but Commonwealth also do it. The Bank industry is a highly competitive market so the Bank you are with more than likely gives students these kind of discounts.
